Simply Downhill who organised the successful race at wentwood last year are now holding their second at Nant Gwrtheyrn on the 14th/15th August. They have held a number of uplifted practice days to test the track and uplift system to ensure the best preparations for 2 Days of racing on the Saturday AND Sunday. Wentwood downhill was started by a number of Wentwood's local riders. We aim to keep the track running smoothly with regular maintenance and also add new obstacles to keep the track challenging whilst also being a great destination for novice riders.
We would like to thank Jason (Dragon Downhill) for allowing us to maintain the track. And also to the woodland trust and forestry commission for working with us to maintain Wentwood as a MTB destination.
If there is anyone willing to help out and do some work on the track then please contact me as all help is gratefully received. Currently in the open section the vegitation needs to be cleared back so anyone willing to help please contact me via the contact page.
